Scott C. Jenkins: Broker

Scott C. Jenkins has broad experience in commercial real estate. His career began in 1982 and has encompassed more than $300 million dollars in real estate value, spanning 12 states and even the Bahamas! With experience in acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, site selection and consulting, Scott Jenkins has been involved with office, industrial, retail, resort and research park properties.

His clients have been life insurance companies, Fortune 500 companies, a Big Eight accounting firm, not-for-profit organizations, churches, and small and medium-sized businesses. Scott has leased properties in excess of 100,000 square feet and developed and sold investment properties with values in the millions.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Jenkins worked for a large national commercial real estate company where he was a top service provider on a national service and marketing team. He instructed fellow brokers, and held real estate transaction records. When he left that company to start his own firm (1993), he was an Executive Vice President.

Mr. Jenkins is a former president and board member of the St. Louis chapter of Certified Commercial Investment Members (CCIM). He has also served on the board of the St. Louis Association of Realtors Commercial Division, and on finance company, church, and not-for-profit organization boards. He is an instrument rated pilot and an advanced SCUBA diver.

Jean H. Jenkins: Broker/Salesperson

Jean Jenkins has been assisting buyers and sellers of homes in the St. Louis area since 2003. Having completed millions of dollars in transactions, she finds a satisfied client her biggest reward.

Before joining the Scott Jenkins Company, Jean worked in New York City for the Charles Horman Truth Project, a non-profit humanitarian organization. She played a key role in producing the 2002 Charles Horman Truth Project Human Rights Awards at NYC's Studio 54. She also worked as office manager and production manager/coordinator for Bank Street Pictures, a small New York film production company. Clients included ABC's Good Morning America, 20/20 with Barbara Walters and NBC's Today Show. She also worked on the 2002 Academy Award-nominated short film “Speed For Thespians” and the independent film “Red Betsy.” Before working in the film world, Jean was an on-air correspondent specializing in international affairs for the public radio show "Monitor Radio.” A highlight of her journalistic career was covering the signing of the 1993 Israel-Jordan Peace Treaty. Jean has lived and traveled extensively in the Middle East.

Jean is a licensed real estate broker but also holds a MA degree from Georgetown University in Middle East Studies. She earned a BA in Art History from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
